Meet whimsical holiday characters and pose for photos by Ten31 Productions at the Holiday Market on Westminster Street along with some pop up entertainment along Eddy Street.
Get your glow on with a holiday celebration at WaterFire! A partial lighting will take place at Waterplace Park with Santa and roaming entertainment presented by GoProvidence with additional activations by Downtown Parks Network and Track 15. The fires will be lit at 6:30 PM and will burn until 8:30 PM.

In celebration of Hanukkah, the Department of Art Culture Tourism and the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island invite you to a Menorah Lighting outside Providence City Hall at 4:45 PM. Following the lighting, join us inside City Hall (2nd Floor) from 5–6 PM for live music from Fishel Bresler’s Klezmer Hotshots, an interactive all-ages art activity led by Hannah Pearlman, and sufganiyot from NAVAD.

🎶 18th Annual West Side Caroling — Sunday, December 21! 🎶
Bundle up, warm your vocal cords, and join 200–300 neighbors for one of the West Side’s most joyful traditions!
4–5pm – Meetup
Gather at Lucky Enough or Great Northern BBQ—both will be open with food and drinks to fuel you up before we hit the streets.
5–5:45pm – Caroling
We’ll stroll and sing our way through the neighborhood, spreading cheer to every corner.
5:45–6:15pm – Moniker Brewery Stop
Take a mid-route warmup by the roaring fire pit at Moniker, with beers ready for quick sale!
6:15–7pm – Caroling Continues
Back to the route for round two of festive tunes.
7pm – Wrap-Up
We’ll end together in the Great Northern BBQ parking lot, with both Great Northern and Lucky Enough open afterward for food, drinks, and more holiday merriment.
