PVD Downcity Holiday Market Vendor Application - Now Open
The Providence Tourism Council and InDowncity are thrilled to present the PVD Downcity Holiday Market's third successful season at Grant’s Block Park, located at the corner of Union and Westminster streets in downtown Providence.
From Thursday, December 3 to Sunday, December 6, Grant's Block transforms into an enchanting outdoor marketplace where visitors and residents can meet, shop, drink, eat, and support local businesses this season.

Apply by Monday, August 17, 2026, for priority consideration. We will notify accepted applicants by September 4th.

PVD Downcity Holiday Market

Enjoy holiday workshops, activities and live entertainment, pop up performances, photos with Santa and more!
Providence City Hall Tree Lighting
Kick off the holidays as we light the City Hall tree. Enjoy performances by community choirs and catch a parade leading Santa into Downtown through falling snow. The celebration continues with live bands, festive activities for all ages, food trucks, and an ice skating DJ party.
City Center Rink - Ice Skating
Lace up some skates and hit the ice all weekend long at The Providence Rink in the heart of downtown. Check out the Rink's website for special ice bumper car time slots.
Illuminate PVD Holiday Stroll
Take part in a festive, illuminated stroll led by the Providence Drum Troupe and pop-up holiday performers.

PVD HOLIDAY FESTIVAL
Each December, the PVD Holiday Festival brings light, culture, and community cheer to the heart of Providence and beyond.
Transforming the creative capital with a spectacular program of festive events and attractions, including holiday markets, tree lighting events, ice skating, community workshops, music, performance artists, WaterFire, and more!
The PVD Holiday Festival kicks off a month of activities taking place throughout the city, culminating in the Providence New Year’s Eve Celebration and Illuminate PVD fireworks, which welcome revelers to celebrate the holidays in Providence.

FirstWorks Presents: Le Patin Libre “Glide”
Friday, December 5th, 7 - 9 PM
Coming from Montreal, Le Patin Libre figure skaters will dazzle us with a performance that wields ice, skates and glide as pure mediums of artistic storytelling. Following this free show, join FirstWorks for a public skate party with a local DJ, open to all!
The Avenue Concept Holiday Lit Mural Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of the public art of downtown, starting at the cozy PVD Downcity Holiday Market on Grant's Block in Downtown Providence. TAC will offer two tours on the evenings of December 4th and 5th, with discounted rates for families. Come rejoice, enjoy the holiday spirit, and get to know some of the most iconic public art pieces in Providence!
Mixing with the Queens: Sunday Funday Holiday Edition
Get ready to shake, stir, and sleigh this season with Say Yes to the Cocktail ®!
Join us inside the heated Lodge Tent at the PVD Downcity Holiday Market for a festive mixology moment featuring LaDiva Jonz and Haley Star.
We’ll kick things off with a cozy holiday demo where we teach you how to make a gingerbread simple syrup, then turn it into a delicious Gingerbread Espresso Martini—complete with sample tastings. All while enjoying dazzling drag performances and plenty of holiday cheer.
